Aaron Carter (December 7th, 1987 – November 5th, 2022) was an American singer and songwriter. He came to fame as a teen pop singer in the late 1990's, establishing himself as a star among preteen and teenage audiences during the first years of the 21st century, with his four studio albums. Carter began performing at age seven after the formation of the Backstreet Boys in which his brother Nick Carter was a part of. He released his self-titled debut album in 1997 at age nine, selling a million copies worldwide. His second album Aaron's Party (Come Get It) (2000) sold three million copies in the United States, and Carter began making guest appearances on Nickelodeon and additionally touring with the Backstreet Boys shortly after the record's release. His third album, Oh Aaron, also went platinum, and in 2002 the musician released what would be his last studio album in over 15 years, Another Earthquake!, followed by his 2003 Most Requested Hits collection. Carter also appeared on Dancing with the Stars, the Broadway musical Seussical, and the off-Broadway musical The Fantasticks, and he made several other one-off performances.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
Aaron Carter made his parade debut in The 74th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on the all new float titled "Simple Simon's Fair" by Reddi-Wip, performing one of his sweetest hits "I Want Candy".
His second and final time was during in The 77th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as he climbed aboard on the "Teddy Bear's Workshop" float by Build-A-Bear Workshop, performing "One Better".
