Alli the Alligator is a vintage mini float that appeared in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and is the pet of Mr. Chuck the Parade Clown.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
Alli the Alligator made his first run down Broadway in the 1969 Parade, and proved to be very popular. Because of this, he was kept in the Parade lineup until after the 1974 Parade, when he was retired. A couple of years later, Alli was sold at an auction for $7,000 and has not been seen since.
