The American Eagle is a classic float from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
The float debuted during the 1946 Parade as the lead float and was retired after that year's procession.
The float returned for the 1949 Parade with a refurb and it housed the Parade's very own Grand Marshal.
It would last for five years before retiring in the 1953 Parade.
