History with the Macy's Parade[]
The cast of Back to the Future: The Musical performed on NBC's telecast of the 2023 Macy's Parade as one of five Broadway production numbers.
The musical number began with Doc and Marty emerging from the DeLorean, finding themselves in front of Macy's Herald Square on the morning of November 23, 2023. Realising his invention successfully transversed time, Doc explains how he built it and celebrates ("It Works"). Marty and Doc—joined by the rest of the show's ensemble—then rock out to Huey Lewis and the News' "Back In Time."
