The Baseball All-Stars are a group of clowns from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

History with the Macy's Parade[]

The All-Star Baseball Clowns made their first appearance in the 2002 Parade, featuring the fictional Macy's All-Star baseball team named after the iconic logo of Macy's department stores. The first-of-its-kind teen clown unit featured the silly sluggers with a Macy's baseball jersey, red turtlenecks and sweatpants, and inflatable baseball bats and balls.

In 2011, foam Macy's Star costumes that were once a part of the Spacey Clowns group joined the hardball heroes. Float escort costumes from the Cracker Jack float were also later added in 2017.

The Baseball All-Stars were absent for most of the route in 2018 due to the chilly weather, and only joined the lineup just before 34th Street to march before the NBC cameras.

COVID-19 restrictions put in place for the reimagined 2020 Parade barred those under the age of 18 from participating, meaning the Baseball All-Stars were unable to make an appearance. They would return, however, for the 2021 Parade and continue to be a part of the lineup as of 2022.
