Big Man Santa is a Novelty Balloon representing a basic version of Santa Claus with a large round body and small arms and legs.
The balloon was named as such by former parade runner Robin Hall. The balloon made its debut in 2009 and appeared until 2012. The balloon was also used in the Macy's Holiday Parade from 2009 all the way until 2016, when it was retired altogether due to the the rebranding of the parade into Universal's Holiday Parade featuring Macy's.
