History with the Macy's Parade[]
Big Time Rush made their first Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade appearance in 2010, riding the success of their aforementioned Nickelodeon show. The band appeared and performed on the Bridge to the Future float from Hess Corporation, a transportation-themed float featuring iconic New York City transportation hubs and the fictional Delta Y Tri-Suspension Bridge of Tomorrow.
For the superstar group's performance on the NBC broadcast, the band performed "Til I Forget About You," the lead single on the group's debut album, BTR.
Big Time Rush returned to the lineup for the 2022 Parade, once again showcasing their rekindled chemistry after their hiatus. The group made an appearance on the Fantasy Chocolate Factory float from Kinder, performing two of their biggest hits, "Paralyzed" and "Boyfriend", the latter of which was cut off due to time restrictions.
