Boob McNutt is a comic strip by Rube Goldberg which ran from June 9, 1918 to September 23, 1934. It was syndicated by the McNaught Syndicate from 1922 until the end of its run.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
Boob McNutt appeared on a zeppelin-shaped giant balloon in the 1930 Macy's Parade as part of that year's "Comic Parade" theme alongside other funny page favorites. It book-ended the procession with another zeppelin, Santa's Dirigible. The balloon only appeared in that year's procession and was retired after its only use, being disposed of shortly after.
