Captain Planet is the main hero of the 1990 animated TV series Captain Planet and the Planeteers. Captain Planet was created as a sign of saving Planet Earth because of pollution increasing, an issue that we are still dealing with today. In the show, Captain Planet and his friends, the Planeteers, go on missions to protect the earth and fight climate-destroying villains.
