History with the Macy's Parade[]

Chris Janson made his first appearance in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in the 2019 Parade, appearing and performing aboard Green Giant's Harvest in the Valley float. Janson shared his excitement of being in the Parade in an interview on the day before the Parade, stating "First of all, I love the people of New York, I very much love Manhattan, and we enjoy it, we feel very much at home there, so I think that that's welcoming."

Janson later added "I, like everybody else, have been watching this [the Parade] my whole life, so to be in it is quite an honor, and to be honest I don't think it's gonna be as challenging as one would think, you know they've got it very ironed out and lined up; very studious. I think it's gonna be great".

For Janson's Parade appearance on the NBC telecast, he performed a rendition of his hit song "Good Vibes", surrounded by a bountiful harvest in a rolling landscape, where the Green Giant ensures the veggies are at peak perfection. Providing choreography were float escorts dressed as Peppy Pumpkins and Sunny Sunflowers.
