History with the Macy's Parade[]

Chris Young made his Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade debut in 2019, hot off the trails of new music releases such as his hit, "Raised On Country," and his headlining of the Raised On Country World Tour 2019. For his Parade premiere, Chris Young appeared and performed on South Dakota Department of Tourism's "Mount Rushmore's American Pride" float, which gave the Parade the Presidential treatment with a replica of the iconic Mount Rushmore.

Young would perform the Christmas classic, "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home," from his 2016 holiday album It Must Be Christmas. Joining him were the Mount Rushmore mascots and float escorts dressed as park rangers and South Dakota wildlife.

Chris Young shared his excitement with his fans on his Instagram account following the procession. "And that's a wrap!!!!!!," Young wrote. "[Macy's Parade] was incredible!!! Now it's time to fly home and cook the bird."[1]
