The Circus Wagon is a float from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
The Circus Wagon made its debut back in the 1961 Parade for the first four years until 1964. it came back in 1969 as the Disney Wagon featuring a few Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Pluto. After 1976, the Disney branding got stripped off the wagon and its now known as the Circus Wagon and later Christmas Wagon. It had guest stars and performers riding on it over the years, including Bob Keeshan "Captain Kangaroo", Maynard Ferguson, The Cast of Nickelodeon's "Pinwheel", Macy Mouse, Honey Bear, and Shari Lewis with Lamb Chop. It appeared until it's retirement after 1995. It returned briefly in 1997, but it was retired shortly after, never to be seen again.
