The Confetti Clowns are a unit of clowns from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
The Confetti Clowns made their debut in the 2006 Macy's Parade, celebrating the procession's historic 80th anniversary. The clown group wore confetti-clad outfits, with multi-colored jester hats as they led the Parade from 77th Street to Herald Square.
In 2008, the Confetti Clowns received an updated look. The group wore pin-striped pants made to look like confetti, with a yellow-and-white-striped shirt under a blue and white vest. Following the clown group's retirement after the 2010 Parade, the outfits were recycled into clowns in the Birthday Party Clowns unit.
