The Crooked Creek Stagecoach is a specialty unit from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
The Crooked Creek Stagecoach first appeared in the 1988 Parade, giving a ride Laurel and Hardy, Charlie Chaplin, and Groucho Marx from Universal Studios Hollywood. It was planned to make an appearance the following year, but was unable to do so because of weather conditions. Consequently, its guest star—Robert Vaughn—was moved to the Strawberry Cottage float, and Laurel and Hardy, Grouch Marx, and Marilyn Monroe from Universal took to the streets on foot.
