The Cruising Cupcakes are a trio of miniature floats, which are original Macy's creations that originated from the My Macy's Holiday Parade in Seattle.

History with the Macy's Parade

The Cruising Cupcakes made their first appearance in the 2013 edition of My Macy's Holiday Parade; a parade which is held on Black Friday in Seattle and uses various costume and float pieces from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The three cupcakes come in a variety of flavors such as vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, all topped with sprinkles and a single cherry on top. The floats were retired after the 2019 Macy's Holiday Parade, as the Macy's store which it sponsored shut its doors in mid-2020.

The trio of cupcakes are scheduled to appear in the 2020 Parade, making it the first time an original My Macy's Holiday Parade unit was used in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
