David Foster is a Canadian musician, composer, and record producer. He began his music career as a keyboardist for the pop group Skylark before transitioning into composing and producing, leading to him creating songs for artists such as Diana Ross, Andrea Bocelli, Chicago, and Celine Dion, among others.[1] In the 1990s, Foster founded 1943 Records. He has won 16 Grammy Awards (from 47 nominations), three Academy Awards, an Emmy and a Golden Globe.[2] In 2021, Foster and his wife Katherine McPhee competed in season six of The Masked Singer as "Banana Split".
