Dennis C. Mulhearn (June 5, 1908 - October 20, 1998) was an Associate Parade Director, Band Coordinator, and contractor for Macy's.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
Mulhearn joined Macy's in 1933, where he was part of Herald Square store's shipping department, as well as being the manager of the store's 4th floor. In 1949, he became head of the store, now being involved with the store's famous Thanksgiving Day Parade.
In 1963, after Macy's fired Bill Tracy, Mulhearn signed Manfred Bass as the Parade's head designer.
Mulhearn retired from Macy's in 1979
