Domino Foods, Inc. is a US company owned by American Sugar Refining Inc. that markets sugar to the general public under the brand names Domino, C&H, Florida Crystals, and Redpath. History with the Macy's Parade
Domino Sugar first announced their plans for a float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in early October 2012, revealing a brand-new float entitled "Stirrin' Up Sweet Sensations".
The Stirrin' Up Sweet Sensations float features a magical take on holiday baking. The centerpiece of this 26-foot tall float is a giant cookie dough bowl and cookie press that dishes out the confections. Three stories above the ground, a giant spoon stirs the cookie dough in an enormous bowl. As it travels into the cookie press, the dough drops in dollops onto the turntable and finally into the oven. The treats are then baked to a golden brown and shoot down the ramp to the awaiting cars of the Cookie Express train, which deliver them to children.
The float became a Parade mainstay, having made appearances until retiring after the 2017 Parade. It was disposed of shortly afterwards, with the Cookie Express train now on display at Macy's Parade Studio.
