She appeared as a guest on many scripted and unscripted (talk and reality show) television programs and as a panelist on numerous game shows. She was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars in 2010.

Henderson hosted her own talk show, The Florence Henderson Show, and cooking show, Who's Cooking with Florence Henderson, on Retirement Living TV during the years leading up to her death at age 82 on Thanksgiving Day 2016 from heart failure.

History with the Macy's Parade[]

Henderson first appeared at the 1984 Parade, both as a Guest Star and Guest Host. She rode on The Showboat and presented The 1984 U.S.A. Summer Gold Medal Olympians and sang "The Best of Times".

She then appeared at the 1999 Parade on the "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" float as she sang the classic theme of the beloved holiday icon.

Her final appearance was during the 75th Macy's Parade in 2001. She was dressed as "Mrs. Claus" and rode down Broadway on the Santaland Express float with Jon Secada.
