The Flying Trapeze is a vintage giant balloon that appeared in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
Recycled and using the same balloon pattern from the Observer balloon that debuted in 1956, the Flying Trapeze made its Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade debut in 1962.
The design of the balloon shows a circus performer on a high trapeze. The balloon was retired after that year's procession.
