Funny Girl is a musical with score by Jule Styne, lyrics by Bob Merrill, and book by Isobel Lennart. The original Broadway production of Funny Girl opened on March 26th, 1964, at the Winter Garden Theatre, transferring to the Majestic Theatre and later The Broadway Theatre before closing on July 1st, 1967. A revival opened on Broadway on March 26th, 2022 at the August Wilson Theatre, with Beanie Feldstein playing the role of Fanny, who was later replaced by actress Lea Michele.
