Girls5eva is a musical comedy television series created by Meredith Scardino for the NBC streaming service, Peacock. The series debuted on the platform on May 6th, 2021. Girls5eva follows a one-hot wonder girl group from the 1990's, who get a second shot at fame when a young rapper samples their song, now as middle-aged woman.

The cast of Girls5eva only appeared at the 2021 Macy's Parade on Peacock's "Birds of a Feather Stream Together" float. They all performed a number called "Famous 5eva" from the show.
