The Grants Pass High School Marching Band and Color Guard is the official marching band of Oregon's Grants Pass High School. The band was named the NWAPA circuit champions five consecutive times on their productions including "One Step Closer" (2018), "Over Under" (2019), "World of our Creation." (2021), "Valkyrie." (2022), and "Luminous." (2023).
Grants Pass High School also hosts an annual marching band competition titled "Pride of the Northwest." The most recent winner was Century High School (2024). Grants Pass is currently under the direction of Lewis Norfleet.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
The band first marched in the 2010 Parade and they performed "A Fantasmic March".
They returned for a second time at the 2018 Parade playing the music of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".
