Hanes (founded in 1900) and Hanes Her Way (founded in 1985) are brands of clothing currently owned by the HanesBrands.

History with the Macy's Parade[]

To celebrate the parade's 70th anniversary, Hanes partnered with Macy's in 1996 to make a float, The float was titled "Party! Time!", The float featured a 3 layer birthday cake, with birthday candles, A birthday hat, people as candles that followed the float, And a sign on the top that said "70", The 70th-anniversary sign was removed in 1997, the float would make 2 more appearances in 1997 and 1998, The float was retired after the 1998 Parade.

In response to the on-going 2019-20 COVID-19 pandemic, after having no involvement in the Parade for over 2 decades, Hanes would partner with Macy's once again to serve as the official face mask provider of the re-imagined 2020 Macy's Parade.
