History with the Macy's Parade[]

The Cow That Jumped Over the Moon (1936)[]

The first version of the float was designed by the famed puppeteer, Tony Sarg and it debuted at the 1936 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Cow Jumps Over the Moon (1946)[]

Another version debuted in 1946 and it retired after 1950.

Hi Diddle Diddle (1958)[]

By 1958, a mini Push-float variant of the nursery rhyme made its debut and it lasted until 1960.
