Hoda Kotb (/ˈhoʊdə ˈkɒtbiː/ HOH-də KOT-bee; Arabic: هدى قطب‎, Hudā Quṭb; Egyptian Arabic pronunciation: [ˈhodæ ˈʔotˤb]; born August 9, 1964) is an Egyptian American broadcast journalist, television personality and author. She is a main co-anchor of the NBC News morning show Today and co-host of its entertainment-focused fourth hour. Kotb formerly served as a correspondent for the television news magazine program Dateline NBC.

History in the Parade

After Matt Lauer was fired in 2017 after the 2017 Macy's Parade due to his Sexual misconduct allegations, Hoda Kotb took his place as host with Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie in the 2018 Macy's Parade.
