Template:MTDPThe Ice Crystals are ornament novelty balloons from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

History with the Macy's Parade

The Ice Crystals made their first Parade appearance in 2004, alongside the Red Candy Cane and the Poinsettias. The balloons feature intricate silver holly and ice crystals shapes. They continued to appear until 2007, when they were briefly retired. They returned in 2009, and appeared until 2012, when they were once again retired. Their most recent appearance took place in 2017, where they were paired up with the new Aflac Duck balloonicle. After this appearance, they were retired altogether.

In addition to appearing in the main Parade, a clone of these balloons appeared in the Macy's Holiday Parade from 2009 until 2016. Other known names for these balloons include the Blue Holiday Ornaments or the Snowflake Ornaments.
