The Ithaca Stars are a pair of novelty balloons that appeared exclusively at the 2012 Ithaca College Graduation Ceremony.

History with the Macy's Parade

The Ithaca Stars were created in the spring of 2012 when the previously-retired Blue & White Macy's Stars were given a fresh coat of royal blue paint, with the star now bearing the college's logo in yellow.

The two 25-foot tall balloons served as a backdrop for former Parade Director Amy Kule, who spoke to the graduates about her time attending the school in the 1980s and following their dreams and finding their career paths.

The balloons made their only appearance at the 2012 graduation ceremony, and have since sat dormant at the Macy's Parade Studio.
