Trivia[]
- One thing the Marching Southerners are known for is that they use a rare type of tuba. Instead of sousaphones or contrabass bugles, this band is the only marching band to use 20J tubas, a one-of-a-kind instrument that create a truly unique bass sound that is more challenging to maneuver with than a sousaphone.
