Joey McIntyre is an American singer-songwriter and actor who is best known as the youngest member of New Kids on the Block and has sold over 80 million records while continuing to sell out arenas today. His TV/film credits include The Fantasticks, Boston Public, The McCarthy’s, and more. On Broadway, McIntyre played Fiyero, the love interest of Idina Menzel's Elphaba in Wicked, and Dr. Jim Pomatter in Waitress. Joey has weaved his solo music in and out of his acting career, producing five albums of his own including the self-penned Billboard Top Ten hit “Stay the Same."

History with the Macy's Parade[]

Joey McIntyre first performed "This One's for the Children" as a member of the boy band New Kids on the Block on the New York Daily News' Big Apple float during the 1989 Parade.

He would then return to the lineup in his first solo appearance singing "NYC Girls" on the new Dinotopia float at the 2001 Parade.

For his third time at Macy's, McIntyre would sing "A Brand New Christmas" on Brach's Palace of Sweets float at the 2024 Parade.
