John Tesh is an American pianist and composer of pop music, as well as a radio host and television presenter. Tesh has won six Emmys, has four gold albums, two Grammy nominations, and an Associated Press award for investigative journalism. Tesh has sold over eight million records. His live concerts have raised more than $7 million for PBS and he has co-hosted the television program Entertainment Tonight.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
John Tesh first made his parade debut with his co-star Mary Hart on The Santa Trolley Express in the 1987 Parade.
He would then appear in the 1992 Parade with his wife Connie Sellecca. He played a lovely musical piece known as "In a Child's Eyes" with violinist Charlie Bisharat as they drifted down Broadway on the Winken, Blinken, & Nod float.
His third time at Macy's was during the 1997 Parade as he dazzles Herald Square with "Spanish Steps" along with the Broadway Cast of Forever Tango on the Flights of Fancy float.
