Judy Kaye is an American singer and actress. She has appeared in stage musicals, plays, and operas. Kaye has been in long runs on Broadway in the musicals The Phantom of the Opera, Ragtime, Mamma Mia!, and Nice Work If You Can Get It.

History with the Macy's Parade[]

Judy Kaye first appeared at the 1987 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, singing "Doin The Penguin Hop" on Seaworld's Positively Penguin float.

For the 1988 Parade, she was originally planned to perform as on the first hour acts. But due to technical problems with the NBC cameras, her appearance had to be skipped. Kaye's second official appearance would be made up for the 1989 Parade as she sang "Parade" on The Marion Marquis in Times Square.

The third time for Miss Kaye was during the 1990 Parade as she sang "I Got The Sun In The Morning" on The American Folk Heroes float.

She would then join the Broadway Cast of Mamma Mia!, as they were grooving to the ABBA classic "Dancing Queen" at the 75th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2001.

Judy most recently appeared at the 2002 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, taking a ride on The Santaland Express float. She would sing a number titled, "What Good Is Being Cranky When It's Christmastime" from Macy's Puppet Show Percy The Poor Little Penguin.
