History with the Macy's Parade

Keke Palmer made her Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade debut in the 2009 Parade, appearing and performing atop Build-A-Bear Workshop's International CeleBEAration Clock Tower float. The young actress and songstress performed a rendition of her hit single, "Top of the World" on the Parade's NBC telecast, with background choreograph performed by two dancers.

Palmer returned to the line of march for the reimagined 2020 Parade, now appearing aboard the glitz and glamour of Coach's Rexy in the City float. Commenting on her performance, Palmer said "It's so good to be out performing, especially during these times when everybody's kind of stuck at home, it's nice to just get a moment where we can enjoy each other even from afar". Palmer performed a rendition of her song, "Dreamcatcher" from her then-newly released album, Virgo Tendencies Part 1.
