Allen Kelsey Grammer (born February 21st, 1955) is an American actor, comedian and producer. For two decades, Grammer played psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane on the NBC sitcom Cheers and its spin-off Frasier, winning four Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards for the role. Grammar also was a recurring guest role as the voice of Sideshow Bob in The Simpsons, with additional voice roles in Anastasia (1997) and Toy Story 2 (1999). He has also appeared in various television shows such as 30 Rock, Modern Family, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
Grammer first participated in the parade in 1991, appearing alongside Harry Blackstone Jr., Willard Scott, and The NCA Superstar Dance Team as part of the finale to the Pre-Parade show. He would later appear in the lineup in the 1993 Parade, performing "What A Wonderful World" as he followed his animated arch-nemesis Bart Simpson on the Fruit Juice Valley float. He returned to the parade for a third time in 1995, this time performing "God Bless America" on the Statue of Liberty float.
