The Lassiter High School Marching Trojan Band is a marching band program at Lassiter High School in Marietta, Georgia. The Trojan Band has performed before many large and prestigious audiences including having twice performed for the President of the United States, the 1984 World’s Fair, 1986 and 1995 King Orange Jamboree parades, the 1991 Blockbuster Bowl, the 1988 and 2001 Tournament of Roses Parade, the 1997 Citrus Bowl Parade, and three consecutive appearances at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

History with the Macy's Parade[]

The Trojan Band made their parade debut at the 1999 Parade with their rendition of Prince's "1999".

For their second march at the 2004 Parade, they were the last band who played "March of the Toys" as they cleared the way for Santa to arrive in Herald Square.

The band's most recent appearance was during the 2010 Parade with their "Black Eyes Peas Medley".
