The Legacy High School "Lightning" Marching Band originated from Broomfield, Colorado. The band was the Colorado Bandmasters Association State Marching Band champion for eleven consecutive years at class 5A.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
The Lightning Marching Band played "Winter Wonderland" at the 85th Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in 2011.
