Lindt is a Swiss chocolatier and confectionery company founded in 1845 that is known for its chocolate truffles and chocolate bars, among other sweets.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
The Enchanting World of Lindt Chocolate (2013-2015)[]
In 2013, Lindt introduced a new float into the Macy's Parade. It was titled "The Enchanting World of Chocolate." Rising three stories above a spectacular chocolate shop, the Lindt float features a larger-than-life Lindt Master Chocolatier that has the world dancing on a string as he orchestrates the pouring and casting of Lindt Bears and other chocolate figures for the holidays. Through the magic of the Macy's Parade, the Lindt Master Chocolatier makes life-sized puppets and spoons work in tandem to create incredibly delicious premium chocolate delights for millions of fans. On the front, there are marionettes of a knight and a dragon, carrying on with the puppeteering element. The outside of the float is decorated with the classic Lindt chocolate wrapping. This float was retired after the 2015 Parade. Despite this, the Dragon marionette prop is used as a decoration in Macy's Parade Studio.
Master Chocolatier Ballroom (2025-present)[]
In 2025, Lindt returned to the Parade with their new "Master Chocolatier Ballroom" float. The elegant design whisks spectators into an enchanted ballroom with chocolate-patterned floor tiles and an ornate staircase with more than 50 designs inspired by shapes found on Lindor chocolate wrappers.
