Macy's New York Christmas was a seasonal event held during the 1992 holiday season at Disney's MGM Studios (now Disney's Hollywood Studios) located at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The event sought to bring a traditional New York City Christmas to the park's "Streets of America" section. Attractions included carollers, chestnut vendors, sidewalk musicians, a recreation of the "Tree of Lights" from Macy's Herald Square, and most notably a series of giant and novelty balloons direct from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The event began on December 5 with a Kris Kringle look-a-like contest, the winner of which had the honors to flick the switch on the event's inaugural light-up.

Balloons featured in the event included Santa Goofy, Betty Boop, Snuggle Bear, Kermit the Frog, Humpty Dumpy (from the Magical World of Mother Goose falloon), several Macy's Stars, the Strawberry/Pistachio Ice Cream Cone, the Geometric Ornaments, the Snow Crystal Ornaments, the Poinsettia Ornaments, and the American Star Ornaments.
