Macy's BalloonFest 2020 - November 7th, 2020: In preparation for the Parade of all Parades later that month, Macy's will hold its annual BalloonFest event in the MetLife Stadium parking lot. Here, the Parade's new inflatable icons will take to the skies for the first time, while handlers, captains and pilots warm up to ensure the Parade goes off without a hitch. This event is only open to Parade Studio employees, their friends and families, and Parade participants. Refreshments will be provided.
Press Day - November 17th, 2020: After the float preview night wraps up, a special day will be held at Macy's Parade Studio, which will allow news stations and media teams to get exclusive coverage on the brand-new floats. Various third-graders from the immediate area will also take a tour of the Studio, learning how the floats go from a pencil sketch to larger-than-life, dazzling stages.
Inflation Celebration - November 25th, 2020: Join Snoopy, SpongeBob, Ronald McDonald and more as they and their balloon brethren are pumped up for the following day's festivities. The event begins at 1:00 p.m., and runs through 8:00 p.m. Spectators can enter at 79th Street and Columbus Circle, where they will approach 77th Street and 81st Street to see their favorite pumped-up characters.
