The Maria Verdeja School of Arts (MVSA Studios) has been committed to excellence in dance training for over 35 years. Maria Verdeja, a first-generation Cuban American & former Miami City Ballet dancer, founded the Latina-owned and -operated institution in 1987. Now led by her daughter, Suki Lopez, who plays Nina on Sesame Street, MVSA Studios nurtures well-rounded performers, recognizing that dance is also a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, & artistry.

History with the Macy's Parade[]

Dressed in their holiday splendor, the kids of MVSA Studios danced along to the music of “Please Santa Please” with the acapella group Pentatonix on Kinder's "Fantasy Chocolate Factory" float.
