History with the Macy's Parade[]
Mario Lopez made his Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade debut in 1991. Here, Lopez appeared in the snow fort of the Winter Wonderland float alongside his Saved by the Bell co-stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Lark Vorhies. The trio looked down over a frozen pond that featured the Penguin Dancers from Birmingham, Alabama.
In 2020, Lopez served as a host of the Verizon livestream of the 2020 Parade, promoting the Saved by the Bell reboot series that began streaming on Peacock the day prior to the event. During the stream, Lopez could be seen in his Los Angeles home alongside his family, introducing guest stars and discussing the reimagined Parade.
Lopez and his family made their first live Parade appearance in 2022, appearing on the lead float, Tom Turkey. Lopez himself got a birds-eye view of the Parade (quite literally) with his daughter Gia Lopez. Below them was his wife, Courtney Mazza, and his two sons Dominic and Santino.
