Melba Moore is an American singer and actress. Moore began her singing career in 1967 with a recording of "Magic Touch," which was left unreleased until 1986. She has been nominated for four Grammy Awards and is a winner of the 1970 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical for her role as Lutiebelle in Purlie. Since her debut, Moore has had 11 top ten U.S. Hits on Billboard charts.
