Natasha Bedingfield is a British singer-songwriter. A songwriter since the age of 12, Bedingfield has Grammy and Brit Award nominations to her credit and has sold more than 10 million albums. On Bedingfield's fourth studio album, Roll With Me, she collaborated with multi-platinum producer Linda Perry to create soulful songs and anthems such as the double-platinum hit "Unwritten."

History with the Macy's Parade[]

Natasha Bedingfield made her first Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade appearance in 2005. The British pop star appeared and performed on the "Expedition to the Top of Rhino Mountain" float from fashion brand Eckō Unltd. The adventure-filled float featured the head of a rhinoceros as it breaks out of the mountainside, with members of fearless AntiGravity performance troupe, who scale the mountain above a duo of inflatable rhinos.

For her appearance on the NBC broadcast, Bedingfield performed her certified platinum hit "These Words" from her album Unwritten, which details her lack of inspiration and her reaction from her record label to produce a hit song.[1]

Bedingfield was scheduled to make an appearance in the 2019 Macy's Parade atop the "Fantasy Chocolate Factory" float from Kinder. However, a medical emergency involving her 23-month old son caused her to cancel her appearance.[2] Her appearance on the float would be replaced by Ashanti.
