Nelly is an American rapper and singer. 2020 marked the 20th anniversary of the St. Louis rapper’s diamond-selling debut Country Grammar, , the album known for its catchy title track & the smooth pop-rap of “Ride Wit Me.” His 2002 effort, Nellyville, really made him a superstar with its club banger “Hot in Here” & “Dilemma,” a duet with Kelly Rowland. Nelly’s melodic twang and effortless mix of hip-hop, R&B, country and pop are why he’s been so successful. He teamed with country-pop duo Florida Georgia Line to drop the diamond-selling hit “Cruise” and the chart-topping “Lil Bit.” The latter song is from his new album, Heartland, on which Nelly keeps blurring the line between country and rap with “High Horse” featuring BRELAND and Blanco Brown and “Grits & Glamour” with Kane Brown.
