The 1964/1965 New York World's Fair was a world's fair that held over 140 pavilions, 110 restaurants, for 80 nations (hosted by 37), 24 US states, and over 45 corporations to build exhibits or attractions at Flushing Meadows–Corona Park in Queens, New York City. The immense fair covered 646 acres (261 ha) on half the park, with numerous pools or fountains, and an amusement park with rides near the lake. However, the fair did not receive official support or approval from the Bureau of International Expositions (BIE).

History with the Macy's Parade[]

In 1963, to help promote the 1964/65 fair, the Parade team made a float based on the event. The float featured the fair's Unisphere sitting atop a wooden base, with all of the International flags perched right around it. Not much is known about this float, other than it only appeared in 1963, and was disposed of shortly after its retirement.

Guest Stars[]

Listed below are the guest stars that have performed/appeared on the float, alongside the respective songs which they sang during the NBC Telecast.
