The Paddy Wagon is a clown vehicle from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
The Paddy Wagon made its first appearance in the 1980 Parade. Kooky keystone cops and crazy convicts recreated a jailbreak on Broadway, as the crooks were taken away in the back of the jail cell on wheels. The Paddy Wagon prop appeared for for nearly two decades before it was retired after the 1999 Parade.
