Padma Lakshmi is an actress, food expert and model. Lakshmi is a New York Times best-selling author and the recipient of the 2016 NECO Ellis Island Medal of Honor. She has created Padma's Easy Exotic, a collection of culinary products ranging from frozen organic foods, fine teas and natural spice blends. Lakshmi also serves as host and executive producer of Bravo's Emmy award-winning Top Chef.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
Padma Lakshmi made her first and only appearance at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2017. Colicchio appeared on the Tom Turkey float (which that year was being sponsored by Bravo's Top Chef), alongside her co-star Tom Colicchio, promoting the newest season of Top Chef, which premiered on December 8th, 2017.
