The R.H. Macy Mini Hot Air Balloon was a novelty balloon made by Macy's.
History with The Macy's Parade
The R.H. Macy hot-air balloon made its Parade debut in 2002, and like most novelty balloons, it was self-sponsored. It features a small, but colorful hot air balloon with stars around it, designed after R.H. Macy himself. The balloon usually came after a group of clowns and had a banner that read "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade: A Holiday Treat for Children Everywhere" on it. The balloon was retired after the 2003 parade, but came back in the 2008 parade, after which, it was retired afterwards. The balloon was not seen after it's retirement.
