Sporting Life was a falloon from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

History with the Macy's Parade[]

Rawlings Sporting Goods sponsored the Giant Baseball and Mitt, which made it's debut in the 1991 Parade. The float featured a baseball mitt and a baseball atop a small base. Following the 1991 Macy's Parade, it was retired. Then, in 1993, the float returned, before being retired once again, this time for good. Then, for the 1996 Parade, the float was recycled into the Pep Rally float.
