The Rocking Moose is a toy float from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

History with the Macy's Parade[]

The Rocking Moose debuted in the 2007 Macy’s Parade as a reimagining of a classic rocking horse toy. Made of wood, steel, foam, fiberglass, and a sprinkle of Macy’s Parade Studio magic, Rudolph’s distant cousin gave his happy Lumberjack friend a ride down the Parade route.

In 2008, the Rocking Moose began making annual appearances in Macy’s Holiday Parade at Universal Orlando, where he remained until the conclusion of the 2016 holiday season.

The Rocking Moose returned to Manhattan in 2017 with his Lumberjill friend in tow. The toy float has appeared every year since, often joined by a duo of Lumberjack Stilt Walkers.
